Enhancements

  • Web Client - Under Admin > Roles, we have added new tab for assigning MFP Document Security permissions for each tab. (DR-753)

  • Web Client - When creating or deleting categories from the Server Manager, the changes are now updated immediately in Web Client Categories list. In addition, switching between tabs in the Web Client now refreshes the Categories list. (DR-1071)

  • Web Client - Click Indexing is now more robust on fields of Type “Date”. (DR-2079)

  • Web Client - Under Create/Edit Category >Table index field > Table rows > Defaults > Tokens are now implemented exactly as in Desktop Client. (DR-2640)

  • Web Client - Edited mask fields of table rows are now saved. (DR-2641)

  • Web Client - Saved Searches with multiple categories now properly load index values. (DR-2675)

  • Web Client - Added Choices Dialog to Table Index Values. (DR-2676)

  • Web Client - Editing a table index field no longer overwrites other index fields. (DR-2750)

  • Web Client - Enabled Web Client Document Viewer's Workflow actions box to 'stick' when navigating from document to document. - (DR-2781)

  • Web Client - Added “Line” annotation to Annotations menu with a modifiable width and color. The width option was also added to free draw. (DR-2808)

  • Web Client - Displayed columns in grids on certain screens can be reordered and the column order will be saved for the specific logged-in user. (DR-2947 DR-2936)

  • Web Client - Searches based on Index Field dates can now search for specific dates. (DR-2813)

  • Web Client - Empty Date field no longer causes auto-populate to invalidate the field. (DR-2819)

  • Web Client - MFP Document Security tabs will now can be accessed/displayed based on tab-specific permissions for the User Role. - (DR-2887)

  • Web Client - Added Server Registry key to control whether error messages are hidden if a User Role doesn't have access to Version History, Audit History or Cross References and they click on a folder. (DR-2921)

  • Web Client - Columns in grids on certain screens can be reordered and column order will be saved for the specific logged-in user. (DR-2947 DR-2936)

  • Web Client and MFP Document Security - When opening an MFP Document Security document from Web Client, keyword hits within the document will be highlighted. (DR-874)

  • Web Client and Server Manager - To prevent overwrite when both applications are modifying the Profile Permissions, an empty value will no longer reset the Profile Permissions value when saved to the database.  (DR-1989)

  • Desktop Client - Any attempt to Restore or Purge documents from the Deleted Documents dialogue without proper permissions will now return an Access Denied error. (DR-592)

  • Desktop Client - When using Send To DocRecord from a file in Windows Explorer, the general indexing window will now preserve the layout of its expanded Document Properties pane. (DR-868)

  • Desktop Client - Enabled the “Move to Folder” option on the right-click menu on Awaiting Commit folders. (DR-1054 )

  • Desktop Client- Added a Workflow Refresh button and Configuration next to Pagination in the Workflow Inbox. Can trigger Manual Refresh, Disable Auto Refresh, and Configure Time Period between each Refresh.

  • Desktop Client - Updated online help links to latest versions. (DR-2758)

  • Desktop Client - In the Document Viewer, user access to Tools > View Audit Log is now determined by the User Role permissions. (DR-2882)

  • Desktop Client - Removed .NET 3.5 dependency in Desktop Client installer. (DR-2900)

  • Desktop Client, Web Client, Server Manager - Now, features can be enabled depending on the status of a Feature Flag set in database table. (DR-2960) 

  • Office Extensions - Previously, Office Extensions relied on Desktop Client to provide the DocRecord Server configuration (Name/IP address). We have added the DocRecord Server Settings dialogue to Office Extensions to provide the server configuration in the event that Desktop Client is not installed. (DR-1796

  • Server Manager - Added a new Imaging tab for image-specific operations. The Image Path/Options, Thumbnail Path, and Support Web Image option have been moved from the Other Settings tab to the new Imaging tab. Also added better scheduling options for users. Due to how the timer works, it checks every 15 minutes whether it is appropriate to launch the cleanup. There is a max timer of 2 hours for each cleanup process, though this should only be hit when the number of documents is greater than 10 million. It does not undo already done work. (DR-2505)

  • Server Manager - Made generating the Product ID via MAC address the default behavior. (DR-2896)

  • Workflow Designer - Added “Document Move In” event on document Move, Commit, and Create actions. Added “Document Create” event to Commit action to be more consistent with Move action. Updated Event Description for “Document Move In” Event to reflect that it will fire if a document goes into a subfolder of DocRecord’s Root folder. However, if the document goes to Awaiting Commit, then this event doesn’t fire until after the document is committed to DocRecord. (DR-2573)

  • DocRecord Server - Enhanced and streamlined Install Aware Project. (DR-2872)

  • DocRecord Desktop Client - Enhanced and streamlined Install Aware Project. (DR-2873)

  • DocRecord Installation - Updated EULA with new corporate office address. (DR-2880)

  • DocRecord - DocRecord Setup Wizard is archived EOL. (DR-2939)

  • Document Service - Added logging for batch processing errors. (DR-2893)

  • DocRecord - Shell Explorer is no longer installed as it's functionality is not currently supported. (DR-2974)

Resolved Issues

  • Web Client - Fixed a PDF rendering issue when ShowAllPdfPages flag enabled. (DR-2830)

  • Web Client - Fixed an issue with “Rectangle” annotation moving when saved. (DR-2808)

  • Desktop Client - Fixed a printing issue. (DR-2792)

  • Desktop Client - Fixed an issue on upgrade to 7.0 by adding a check for a null value in the DocumentFolderType. (DR-2807)

  • Desktop Client - Fix for Document Viewer > Print > "Selection" error. Disabled Selection option for PrintDialog. Also, modified Warning logs for folder and/or document Access Denied messages as debug logs. (DR-2920)

  • Desktop Client - Fixed an issue with document expression updates causing all documents in a Category to be updated when the Edit Category dialogue was closed using the "OK" button. (DR-2955)

  • eForm Manager- Fixed an issue where documents were not assigned a Category when committed with right-click menu. (DR-2805)

  • Server Manager - Fixed some field labels being cutoff in Server Configuration. (DR-1366)

  • Document Service - Fixed an issue where batch processing was not working for unassigned categories. (DR-2894)
