  1. Please turn off User Account Control (UAC) if you are installing ScanPath on Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008.To turn off UAC:Open User Accounts by going to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety (or User Accounts, if you are connected to a network domain) > User Accounts.Ā 
  2. Click Change User Account Control settings.Ā

  3. Slide the slider bar down to "Never Notify" and click OK. You will need to reboot your computer.Ā
