Installing and Configuring IIS Under Windows 7

  1. Open Program and Features by going to Start and typing "programs and features" in the Search Program and files section. Click Programs and Features in the search results.

 

 

  1. Click Turn Windows features on or off.  

 

 

  1. Find Internet Information Services

 

 

  1. Expand Internet Information Services and check the boxes for FTP Server, Web Management Tools, and World Wide Web Services.

 

 

  1. Expand FTP Server and check the box for FTP Extensibility (FTP Service will automatically be checked).

 

 

  1. Click OK to apply the changes.

 

 

  1. If prompted to restart, click Restart Now.
