Tokens in Scan to File

If you are using authentication at the MFP panel, you can use the <USERNAME> or <HOMEDIR> token in the Folder Path:

  • The <USERNAME> token will be replaced with the username of the authenticated user.
  • The <HOMEDIR> token will query Active Directory for the authenticated user's Home Directory.

The <USERNAME> and <HOMEDIR> tokens are not support for the User Browsable configuration.

The ScanPath Server service will need to use a service account in order to access to Active Directory to query the authenticated user's Home Directory.
