Configuring ScanPath Konica Minolta i-Option Connector

You will be directed to the ScanPath Login screen, where you may enter the Admin Password and click the Login button. The default Admin Password is admin. The Language selection at top right will also determine the language used by ScanPath at the MFPs.

  2. You may configure a variety of settings for your ScanPath Konica Minolta i-Option Connector within the i-Option Management Console.

  3. Select the Settings button within the top right corner of the window.

Server Settings

  1. Within the Server Settings tab, you may leave the FTP User Name within the FTP User Name field as anonymous or enter the desired FTP credentials. You may also leave the password within the Password field as the default or you may change the password to the desired FTP credentials.

  2. Enter ScannedDocs into the FTP Folder Name field. All incoming scanned documents are placed into an FTP folder named ScannedDocs.

  3. You may leave the MFP Admin User ID as admin and the Admin Console Password as admin, or you may change these fields to a custom User ID and Password.

  4. The FTP Root Path field must be directed to the IIS FTP folder. By default the IIS FTP folder path is c:\inetpub\ftproot.

  5. The Web Host SSL is for enabling the web client to be displayed with https. If True, this requires creation of a SSL certificate that is configured in line with Installing SSL at the bottom of the installation page. If False, Certificate Verification will need to be disabled on the MFP itself, as also detailed on the installation page.

  6. The Web Connector Server IP is the IP address of the connector. This is the address the MFPs will connect with and should be an ip address for localhost that the MFPs can reach. Localhost will not work for this field. The Web Connector Server Port will default to port number 50111.

  7. To enable SSL, set the Web Connector Server SSL to true. The Default MFP OpenAPI Port when enabling SSL is 50003. The Web Connector Server SSL and MFP OpenAPI Port settings must match the MFP configuration. Please see Konica Minolta documentation regarding OpenAPI SSL configuration.

  8. To disable SSL, set the Web Connector Server SSL to false. The Default MFP OpenAPI Port when disabling SSL is 50001. The Web Connector Server SSL and MFP OpenAPI Port settings must match the MFP configuration. Please see Konica Minolta documentation regarding OpenAPI SSL configuration.

  9. The ScanPath Server IP field will contain the IP address of the machine used to install ScanPath.

Scanner Settings

  2. You may set the resolution of the scanned file from the Resolution Size drop-down list. You may also set whether the scanned file will be one sided, two sided, or second side rotated.

  3. Set Duplex to change if one-sided or two-sided scanning is enabled by default.

  4. Set whether the scanned file is displayed in full color, black, greyscale, or auto color through the Color Type drop-down list. You may also set the Size of the scanned file from the available Scan Sizes Selection options.

  6. You may set the density of pixels for your scanned file from 1 to 9. A density of 1 is the least and a density of 9 is the greatest.

  7. Installation on Konica MFPs from different regions requires changing to the appropriate region.
