Licensing ScanPath Server

You will need an active Internet connection and a valid CD Key to license ScanPath. If you did not receive a CD Key from Prism Software, you must contact Prism Software (with your Product ID) for this key.  Or, you can contact Prism Software for a CD key if you wish to retrieve your license key over the Internet.

CD Keys are issued per machine, not per component. In other words, whether you are licensing one, two, or three components on one machine, you will only need one serial number for that machine regardless.


  1. In the Licensing tab, you can retrieve the License Key from Prism Software's website by clicking the link "Get License". 
     
  2. Enter the CD Key, either by typing the CD Key or by pasting from the Windows clipboard in the first text box.

  3. Enter your registration information and click OK.

    The Company Name, First Name, Last Name, Email, and Zip/Postal Code are required.

  4. Click Apply to license ScanPath. Then click Next.

  5. Your License should change from "Unlicensed" to "Permanent" (or display the expiration date).. 
  6. You will see the appropriate modules listed based off your CD Key.

The ScanToBarcode and/or Bates Stamping tabs will be hidden if you are not licensed for the module.
