DocRecord Panel Process: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:1505

Problem

When you try to access ScanPath from the MFP panel, the panel says "Acquiring Job Ticket Data" and eventually goes to a blank screen. In reviewing the ScanPath.log file, you get an error message that is similar to the following:

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:1505

Solution

  1. From the Start menu, choose All Programs > Prism Software > ScanPath, and then choose ScanPath Configuration Tool.

  2. Click Next until you see the Enable Panel Services settings.

  3. Click the Applications tab.

  4. Disable the DocRecord process.

If the DocRecord process needs to be enabled, you will need to double check the DocRecord installation and configuration.

Verify the ScanPath Configuration Tool > Options> Application Servers has been configured with the correct DocRecord Server and Port.
