Missing pane in the Desktop Client

Problem

When you open the Desktop Client, one or more panes are missing and can't be shown by enabling the pane from the View ribbon bar.

Solution

The layout has become corrupt in the Desktop Client and will need to be reset.  Please follow the steps below to reset the layout to a clean state:

  1. Close the Desktop Client if it is open.

  2. Open a Run command window (Start > Run).  Copy and paste the following text into the Run command window and click OK:
    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Prism Software Corporation\DocRecord Desktop Client\Layout

  3. Delete all the files contained in the "Layout" folder that appears.
     

  4. Open the Desktop Client; the pane should now be selectable from the View ribbon bar.
