Hardware Platform Requirements
A DocAudit installation requires at least 1 dedicated hardware server with the configuration listed below:
2 CPUs or greater (each processor must be 2 GHz or faster)
8 GB of system RAM or greater
1.5 GB of free hard disk space for installation files (additional hard disk space required for storage of actual documents and data)
A domain controller server may NOT be used as the hardware server for DocAudit. Also, in environments with a heavy volume of MFP jobs, it is recommended that the DocAudit Automation Server be loaded on a separate hardware server (same specifications as above).
Please note the following:
- Each DocAudit Server can handle up to 100 Konica Minolta bizhub MFPs.
- Each bizhub MFP must support the Image Log Transfer function.
Additional Software Requirements
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 or 2014 Express Edition or higher (used for DocAudit database) – Purchased, installed, and maintained by customer.
Please note the following regarding Microsoft SQL Server:
- If you are using the SQL Server Express Edition, please note that it is recommended to use a full edition of SQL Server if more than 10 MFP devices are used in conjunction with DocAudit.
Also, please note that there are various limitations including a database size limit and the inability to scale up in terms of performance. For this reason, the Standard Edition or higher is recommended for use with DocAudit.
In addition, when the database size limit of the Express Edition is eventually reached and an upgrade to a full edition of SQL Server is required, the customer shall be solely responsible for performing this upgrade. If the customer would like Prism to assist with this SQL Server upgrade process, Prism professional services must be purchased as billable hours. - If you are licensing under the Server/CAL model then at least 1 CAL license is required for each DocAudit concurrent user.

- Microsoft Silverlight - Only needed if DocAudit Web Client will be used.
