End of Life (EOL) Notice: PrintPath

This is the End of Life Notice for Prism PrintPath.

• New Customers

  • The Prism PrintPath product is no longer on the Konica Minolta price sheets and is no longer actively sold by either Konica Minolta or Prism Software.

• Existing Customers

  • No additional PrintPath MFP Connectors or PrintPath Servers, as add-ons to existing PrintPath installations, are being sold by either Konica Minolta or Prism Software.

  • No additional maintenance renewals are being accepted by either Konica Minolta or Prism Software.

  • Existing PrintPath maintenance contracts in place are being honored through the End of Maintenance Support date.

• Product Release Notes

  • Bug Fixes:

    • Bug fixes and patches will be available through End of Maintenance Support date.

  • New Features Freeze:

    • No new features or capabilities will be added to PrintPath.

  • Operating System (OS) Freeze:

    • Microsoft Windows Server

      • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 is the final OS that is compatible with PrintPath. Later OS versions (Windows Server 2016 and 2019) are NOT compatible with PrintPath and are not covered under Prism’s PrintPath maintenance. We strongly recommend that existing PrintPath customers DO NOT upgrade to Windows Server 2016 or 2019 as there are known incompatibilities, that will neither be addressed by Prism nor be covered by PrintPath maintenance, with PrintPath with these OS.

    • Microsoft Windows (Client)

      • Microsoft Windows 10 Pro is the final OS that is compatible with, and supported by, PrintPath. Later OS versions are NOT compatible with PrintPath and are not covered under Prism’s PrintPath maintenance. We strongly recommend that existing PrintPath customers DO NOT upgrade to later Microsoft Windows Client OS.

^{(1) Customers with active PrintPath maintenance contracts extending beyond July 31, 2021 are eligible after that date for a prorated refund of the unused portion of their prepaid maintenance upon the cessation of Prism-provided maintenance on July 31, 2021. Prism reserves the sole right to extend the End of Maintenance Support to a date after July 31, 2021 and, in such an event, the prorated refund date and policy would also be adjusted accordingly.}
