Purpose

The purpose of this document is to describe UI changes, new features, and bug fixes in this release version of Prism WorkPath products, including WorkPath DocRecord, WorkPath Desktop, WorkPath Standard and WorkPath Advanced. The items listed below encompass all changes up to the current release build.

  • When using “User Specified” for the filename of an output connector, t if the name ends with period. That will tell the code not to add the file type extension to the custom name. The period will be trimmed off the end automatically. Otherwise, it will work like it did previously. This is to maintain backwards compatibility. This should be documented for future reference.

  • Fixed issue in SP Folder Browser when OK is clicked and no folder has been selected, causing a NULL reference error. This will now be treated like the Cancel button was pressed.

  • Added Recycle Token to SP OAuth settings

  • Fixed issue where SP Server path is getting appending to the beginning of the folder path when browsing for folder. This is due to the fact the user entered server path does not match the return server path for the folder. So it is unable to detect and strip it. In the https//MyCompany.SharePoint.com is not the save as https://mycompany.sharepoint.com . Add code to do an case-insensitive check which should address the issue.

  • Fixed the code the updates or set metadata fields in SharePoint so that and errors cause by invalid data type will be percolated up to the calling object. Before nothing was logged giving the impression that everything was ok, but the data never updated.

  • Fixed an issue where Emails were not getting marked as “read” after being moved.

  • Improved paging of large folder sets when getting back SharePoint file and folder lists.

  • Added SharePoint oAuth Support to all SharePoint Objects and Output

  • Added SharePoint oAuth Option to Outputs and Server Settings screens. This option is only available when SharePoint 365 is selected.

  • Added SharePoint “Use App Security” option to SharePoint Online (365) server settings. This allow the software to connect to SharePoint as a Sharepoint Add in Application vs a User. This is needed when basic auth has been disabled on the Azure Tenant. This uses a ClientID and ClientSecret provide by during Add In App registration on the Azure Tenate instead of username and password.

  • Updated the Microsoft OAuth App Client Secret Token which is good for 2 years.

WorkPath Desktop

  • Fixed issue with Search Wait Box not always closing.

  • Fixed issues Search Highlighting with rotated PDFs and PDF with offset margins.

WorkPath Desktop and WorkPath Standard

  • Fixed Bitonal Object to allow “BiTonal Mode” to be set to “Otsu”.

WorkPath Standard

  • Added the ability to set the line terminator on the “Write to File” workflow object.

  • Fixed the “Email Notification” workflow object to use CC and BCC fields.

  • Added configurable “Max Loop Iterations” to the “Loop” workflow object to prevent infinite loop conditions.

  • Added a “While” option to the “Loop” workflow object.

  • Added the ability to start the “Loop Index Value” at zero.

  • Forcefully set the SMTP Port when using OAuth so that it does not have to rely on DNS resolution.

WP- Fixed issue where the “Use Process Info” on the SharePoint Upload object was not getting the settings from the Security Settings Object. This was a problem in the GUI only.
WP – Fixed JIRA WP-763 – Added the ability to set the line terminator on the Write to File Object
WP - Fixed JIRA WP-762 – Fixed is where Email Notification object was not wired up to use CC and BCC fields.
WP – Fixed JIRA WP-760 - Add configurable 'max loop iterations' to Loop Object - to stop infinite loop conditions.
WP – Fixed JIRA WP-761 – Add while option to existing Loop Object
WP – Fixed JIRA WP-759 – Added ability to start the Loop Index Value at zero.

  • WPS/D – JIRA WP-729 – Fixed issue with OneDrive typo on variable name

  • WPS/D – JIRA WP-732 – Fixed issue with wrong dialog title in Extract Text Object settings

  • WPS/D – JIRA WP-731 – Insert Text at X only accept literals.

  • WPS-D- JIRA WP-706 – Low Quality Print Permission is not being set. This setting only works in 128bit security (PDF 1.4 or higher). Fixed GUI to reflect that. Now if security is set to a 40 bit security, the two print options are combined in a single “Allow Print” option.

  • WPD/WPS - Fixed JIRA WP-734 - Bitonal Object - BiTonal Mode = Otsu - causes WorkPath Service to crash

  • WPS -JIRA WP-755 – Added notes tab to REST EndPoint Editor Dialog

  • WPS – JIRA WP-754 – Fixed issue with current file processing when converting from HTML to PDF. Needed to add .HTML to the internal tempfile name or the engine would treat the file as TXT.

  • WPS – JIRA WP.737 – Missing GUI issue with missing Conditional icon

  • WPS – JIRA WP-748 – Added option to specific Override Log Root Folder, to the Server Settings screen. If the folder field is set to blank it will default back to the default location

  • WPS –-JIRA WP-750 Fixed with issue with SP variable paths not decoding URL character when returned.

  • WPS – JIRA WP-757 – Add 'browse folder' capabilities to new 'Override Log Root Folder'

  • WPS – JIRA WP-756 – Import / Export Global Vars

  • WPS – Fixed JIRA WP-736 – SP GetFileInfo and GetFolderInfo type in SPFileModified and SPFolderModified vars

  • WPS – Fixed issue where existing SP download code does not work with APP Security. Changed download method to compatible code.

  • WPS – Fixed JIRA WP-735 - Add 'Recycle Token' (OAuth) to Email input

  • WPS – JIRA WP-723 – Added Up/ Down buttons to Workflow manager to allow order sorting of the Workflows

  • WPS – JIRA WP-707 – Replace spaces in column name with underscore when creating variable in the CSV Reader.

  • WPS -Fixed issue with Black and White Redactions with rotated PDFs and PDF with offset margins.

  • Fixed issue with Box Fill Color not setting the transparency based on the selected color. This made transparent color selection not work

  • Fixed issue with Draw Rectangle with rotated PDFs and PDF with offset margins.

  • WPS -Fixed issue with Draw Lines with rotated PDFs and PDF with offset margins

  • WPS – Added code to normalize PDF rotation to its viewport rotate to prevent issues with drawing on rotate viewport PDFs.

  • WPS – Updated Vintasoft DLLs

  • WPS – Fixed JIRA Wp-725 fixed two more related issues. One to deal with calculating placement when view orientation is set to 270 degress. The second one is to deal with fields that are not lining up due to the media box having top or left override margin defined that are not the normal zero value.

  • WPS – Fixed JIRA WP-724 Form Filler Text Alignment Issue. Fixed issue related to change in Vintasoft library alignment property. Changed algorithm on how placement is calculated.

  • WPS – Fixed JIRA Wp-725 Form Filler Text orientation issue on PDF pages that have a view orientation that does not match the actual page orientation.

  • WPS Fixed with Libraries and Folders with spaces or special charters in the name. Libraries are always looked up by URL relative path now, vs Name in the case they could be different.

  • WPS Fixed with SP code that gets file info not returning file path information correctly.

  • WPS Fixed issue with SharePoint Output Object(from Outputs Menu) not working

  • WPS Made change so Server Settings Variable are no longer written out as part of the Debug Object.

  • WPS SharePoint Get Folder Info missing fields

  • WPS SharePoint Get File Info missing fields

  • WPS – Added SharePoint oAuth Support to Sharepoint Input
