How does PrintPath reduce my costs and save my organization money and improve efficiencies?

PrintPath has a number of tools that allow an organization to regain control over the many inefficient printing and copying practices that are present in most companies. In summary, these tools (features) and the way they save money are:

  • Follow Print: Prevents unnecessary printing by allowing a way for employees to release a print job while they’re at the MFP.  Eliminates uncollected printing from stacking up at the MFP.
  • Mobile Follow Print: This provides the same function as above but allows the user to release their print job to any printer on the network from their mobile device.
  • Accounting & Charge-back: This allows universities, schools, and companies to charge back print and copy costs to the applicable student, employee, department, project, client, or cost center. This eliminates unaccounted for printing and copying.
  • Print & Copy Rules: A number of easy-to-use and implement print and copy rules can be made such as: User allowances, how to print (color vs. B/W), routing print jobs to the least costly printer, and many more.
  • Guest Printing: Allows guests to print a document to a secure MFP. This enables security to remain in place but providing a secure and quick printing tool for your guests.
  • Browse Printing: Improves efficiencies by allowing an authorized user to browse for documents from any PrintPath-enabled MFP and select for printing. This saves time from having to go back-and-forth to his/her desk to search for documents.
  • Scan-to-My Email: Allows a quick and efficient method of getting your scans to you via email. This enables that scan to be available on all your email-enabled devices.
  • Scan-to-My Folder: A highly convenient tools allowing all your scans to be collected in one personal folder.
