Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.ATL,version="9.0.21022.8",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"'.

Problem

When you try to install the DocRecord Automation Server, you get an error message that is similar to the following:

Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.VC90.ATL,version="9.0.21022.8",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"'.

Solution

1. Verify all Windows Updates have been successfully applied and reboot the server.
   
   
2. Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package for both 32 and 64-bit OS.
   
   32-bit OS

3. Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package for both 32 and 64-bit OS.
   
   
4. Reinstall DocRecord Automation Server
