Keeping the default localhost as the Remote Host when entering your server settings will result in a server connection error.

 Below are the steps to resolve the Server Configuration Error. 

1. If you received a server connection error while installing DocRecord Desktop Client, click the icon in the top right corner of the DOCRECORD LOGIN window.
   
   
   
   

2. Enter your DocRecord Server Name in the Server field.

   If you do not know your DocRecord Server Name, contact your DocRecord Administrator

   
   

3. Click the icon and return to the DOCRECORD LOGIN window. Select the login button to launch DocRecord Desktop Client with your DocRecord Server Name as your Remote Host.
   
   
    
4. DocRecord Desktop Client will now run successfully under those credentials.
