Scan to File Configuration

There are two ways of utilizing the Scan to File process.

  • Preset Locations allow you to define scan locations which can be chosen by the user at the MFP panel.

The maximum number of Preset Locations is 15.

  • User Browsable allows you to define the starting root folder at which the user can browse the directory structure from the MFP panel.

User Browsable locations are only supported on devices that use Scan Version 3.1 or higher.

If the device does not support Scan Version 3.1 or higher, the setting will behave like Preset Locations.

User Browsable does not support tokens (e.g., <USERNAME>).

"Root" is a reserved folder name and cannot be used with User Browsable.
