GENERAL

• Support for DocRecord v5 has been added, allowing users to submit documents from ScanPath Desktop into either DocRecord v4 or v5.

PROCESS EDITOR

• A "Pop-Up Indexer" object has been added to the Process Editor (Misc > Pop-Up Indexer), allowing Misc menu, allowing the user to enter key index information about the current document.  The document is displayed side-by-side with its index information, allowing the user to visually click on the text in the image and have it automatically place the information in the current index field.  This index information may then be referenced later on in the process.
   
• A "Remove Background Color" object has been added to the Color menu, allowing you to drop the background color of the current page.  This is helpful for colored forms, allowing you to pre-process the image before another action that works better with a white background (such as OCR).
   
• An "Auto Rotate" object has been added to the Rotation menu, which attempts to automatically rotate the current page based on recognizable text.
   
• Added "Median Filter" and "Sharpen Images" objects to the Imaging menu.
   
• Added "Remove Color" object to the Color menu.
   
• Added "FolderBrowse" to the list of Field Types, allowing users to be prompted to browse for a folder before continuing with the process.
   
• Added "Form Filler" object to the Documents menu, allowing you to take data (which may be statically entered or pulled from a variable in the process) and overlay it onto a PDF or TIFF file.  This data will then become a permanent part of the document as searchable text and cannot be removed or hidden.  (This is different than a text annotation, which can be edited afterwards).
  
  
• A process may now accept Microsoft Office file formats natively as input, converting these files to PDF format automatically before processing.

ADVANCED DATA EXTRACTION

• The Template Editor now displays an option for "OCR Language", allowing you to set the OCR language being recognized for the current template set.
  
  
• Added "Clone" to the list of Zone Types, allowing you to reference the data in the same zone multiple times.  For example, you may have a single barcode zone that contains multiple data values in a delimited format.  By cloning this zone for each data value, you can eliminate the need to draw multiple zones in the Template Editor.
  
  
• Individual templates may now be disabled within a template set, making it simple to isolate the results of one template within the set.

FIXES:

GENERAL

• When uploading a document to an on-premise SharePoint Server, the metadata values do not get set properly.
   
• Black redaction image tool does not work on certain image-based PDF files.
  
  
• When printing a PDF file through certain print drivers, the pages may come out blank in the printed output.
