Problem

When you try to test the Scan to Email Configuration, you get an error message that is similar to the following:

SMTP Server Test Failed: The server has rejected authentication data sent by the client. The server responded: 535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful

Solution

  1. Verify the SMTP Server Username and/or Password
